Idea for a side story. · 11:36pm Jul 25th, 2019
Since the Galactica and her fleet are lost in space and the main story Operation end game mostly follows them, IE Fallon and everyone else.
I was wondering if I shouldn't make another story following what's happening while the flagship is lost in UEC space? I feel the universe has so much potential to tell so many other interesting stories but I don't know if I should do it.
An Idea I've been tossing around in my head for a while is to tell the story of a team of helldivers as they go around to lanky/UEC controlled planets to recover/steal technology. Perhaps I could touch on the stranded colony's some more, or bring up the struggles of working with so many of earths super powers like the SRA, or NE.

I think I might go with the Helldivers story. Mabey to keep with the military, themes of the story. That and I feel like I bring them up more than almost every other group of special forces. It could make for more interesting "boots on the ground" kind of story if that makes any sense. Since almost every other branch of the NAC special forces utilizes atlas mechs. And the Helldivers mostly use Siafu mechs so they have to rely more on small unit tactics and stealth than the unstoppable killing machine that is the ATLAS.
Interesting suggestion, if you allow me a suggestion, as you ask, how about a story regarding changelings? The escape from the equestria was presented by the UEC to the planets that or systems in which they took refuge and how they made it to get the The guide to create their battle ships and the tactics of guerrilla that they used to keep the UEC busy. The first plot almost does not talk much about it.

You are right the changelings arent realy brought up that much in the main story, sure there was the once scene with Krysk and the hive but I didn't really touch on much besides bring up that chrysalis isn't the only queen. And while they will more than likely play a major part in this new story arc I didn't really pLan making them a real focal point.
So mabey bringing them into something else like a side story or giving them their own might be in order. I just don't know How I would tie it into the main story very well, since I'm not that good of a writer.
So what’s the main story so far? I haven’t really bothered to read the story because that would be REALLY time consuming.
Maybe do a codex sort of story about how the NAC and other nations organise their military units like how large is a battalion and how many battalions are in a division that kinda thing.
