Genuinely Curious · 1:23am Jul 23rd, 2019
At times I hate when my brain goes "what if?" It often leads me down paths to other strange writings. In particular the first few scenes that ended up becoming 'The Fractured'. Trust me, the first chapter was sadly an after thought and would read differently if gave it and other parts the time they deserved.
The "what if?" came up after having moved the story into a folder on here I called "Wish I could have done better". And the thought which has dogged me all morning is "What if I did?"
So, that leaves me at the stage of genuine curiosity. I know I only released it recently, but would there be interest in seeing what happens given some more time?
Would it be better kept as this original version while a re-mastered version is posted alongside it? A problem with this is that there would be some chapters left pretty well the same which could go against posting policy. It would probably show part of my working method, I guess. If that counts.
The other problem would be I would still have to treat it as a hobby piece and prioritise my non-pony writings so it could take some time to do.
Overall, it would mean properly focusing on Aria and Pyrus (not that there is much to Pyrus to flesh out) as well as Monochrome.
Well, this thought, as most do, has gone a little long so I will leave it up to anyone reading to raise what they think.

Flesh it out more if you're in the mood or have the mindset for it. Sometimes going back and working on a finished story, especially if you're already working on something else or looking forward to a new project, can turn into a mire.
Personally, although not a perfect story, I think it's good as it is, all things considered. If you expect more from yourself when something unsightly -- to whatever degree -- is obvious to you, then go for it, but you won't get a complaint from me either way.
