Grandpa Gestalt · 12:13am Jul 23rd, 2019
This seems a fitting introduction. Sorry, it isn't even a full scene yet, just a small part of a much larger script. Eventually, this will get plumped out into a paragraph. But... as it is, all by itself, it is just brimming with potential. There is so much feeling packed into it, even in raw script form.
Grandpa Gestalt: Friends are those we stumble upon by accident, my dear, but we stay with by choice. No one pony is strong enough to contend with destiny, but friends, friends can create their own shared purpose. Destiny can be wrangled and given what for. -cough- fidget descriptor.
The line might change a bit when the scene is properly finished, when the paragraph is fully constructed. But, I wanted people to see it in its raw form. It's like eating raw cookie dough. Or, maybe I'm having an old man moment. But there is hope here, good feeling, and cheer.
Though, I suppose I could be wrong.
I have been hammering out lots of script stuff for Skyreach, Spring Broke, Soul Thief, and other projects as well. I am on fire. I think I've hit my stride.
Looking good. Looking forward to Skyreach too. Good luck!
Yes! Can't wait to get a glimpse into one of Equestria's oldest houses.
I must say I am particularly excited about spring broke, it's such a story full of potential and social commentary I adore it! Thank you for all the hard work
Dude... if you're on fire: use a fire extinguisher, then rock and roll! That, or just keep on with Beavis in the background chanting, "Fire! Heheh! Fire!"
