Apropos of the Sinners - Update 4 · 3:46am Jul 14th, 2019
Just like the number in the title, Part 4 of AotS will be coming out next Tuesday. Holy shit, that's in only a few days. No joke, I legit just realized that now, as I'm typing this. Man, it's been a while.
Anyway, anyway... For Part 4 there's gonna be three chapters being released every week, so Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday you'll be getting new chapters for the next three weeks. This is gonna be the longest part so far, adding up to a whole nine chapters.
Part 4 will also mark the height of the slice-of-life, character development-focused section of AotS, right before becoming more focused and plot-heavy in Parts 5–8, which is the second half. Basically Parts 1–4 was all about developing the characters with some foreshadowing sprinkled through, and 5–8 will be putting them though real, heavy stakes. No, don't worry, this seeming shift in genre isn't going to ruin the original mood or anything; on the contrary, it's with no intended arrogance when I say the second half, and especially the last arc, is going to be mind-blowing. For me at least, because I care about existential philosophy put into practice.
TL;DR Part 4 is coming out next week. Yeah, I get that no one cares about this story (the views and comments speak for themselves), but cancelling it is the last thing on my mind. I'm giving it my 100%.
