And today, quite unexpectedly, I found myself reading through a story on here where a human somehow ends up on the wrong side of home, injured, and is thence taken care of by Celestia and during the course of this forms a bond with her owing to shared interests and a willingness to treat her as an individual rather than a title, followed by cuddling and shared feelings of warmth and affection.
Imagine my surprise! Especially as it considerably predates my own cackhanded efforts. Amazing I'd missed it until now!
Fun to compare and contrast, I felt, as beyond these they differ in tone quite considerably.
Ah. Life! I do like that sort of thing.

I wish there were too. Sadly though a lot of people (for reasons I don't understand) really love hating on Celestia.
I've read a bunch of Z's work, they're really good. Though the relationships in them tend to be more 'possessive' then I think is healthy. I'd say the characters in your version have a much healthier relationship.
