Magisight Chapter 15: DELAY · 9:45pm Jun 14th, 2019

After I made all that fuss about shifting from Thursday to Friday, I unfortunately will require an additional week to bring chapter 15 up to the standards I am happy with. My editor pointed out a number of issues with key scenes that messed with the flow and pacing, and after reviewing the scenes in question, I came to the same conclusion and have spent a lot of time rewriting it. I'm also incorporating new ideas for the chapter that take advantage of the concepts I've established for earth pony magic. I can thank Denzy for helping smooth some of these ideas out as well, without him the chapter might have been stuck!
Editing can be hard. Sometimes you think you've got something great and wonderful down, but then a second, more discerning pair of eyes reads it and goes "Wait no that's dumb" and you have to go back and fix everything, but anyone who might be stuck on a story with something like this, don't get discouraged! Much like chapter 13 (with the infamous deleted "shower scene"), sometimes a fresh perspective may give you an "ah-ha!" moment to allow you to make the story even better. Most people mean well when giving feedback, so it's important to lesson and consider their point of view! Other times though, you might have to say "No, that will mess up this part of my story," which can be difficult as well.
Kind of like how my editor wanted me to delete my prequel memes in prior chapters OwO (did you find them yet?)
Again, I do apologize for anyone actively looking forward to this week's chapter, but I please ask that you give us additional time to make it as best as we possibly can. Sometimes, real life just gets in the way, and things become too difficult to properly juggle. Thank you all so very much, and please look forward to it!

Disappointing but would be more dispointed if the chapter did not make sense and I can wait after all I would rather read something your happy with and is the best that you can make so wait for next week XD
