The Point of No Return rambles! · 11:52pm May 27th, 2019
Twilight learns the same lesson she's been learning since season 2. Yeah, maybe season 9 is a good stopping point because they're running out of ways the character can grow.
Moondancer coming back was nice, at least.
Liked the twist that there was a fine cap on the book, that's a bit of reality this plot usually doesn't do. And Twilight deciding that making things right was more important than avoiding a fine... yeah, good characterization.
A pretty meh episode.
The moral of this episode was much deeper than I expected it to be.
It was a decent episode, with a good moral. But otherwise, the only stand-out moment was Moondancer's brief return.
I think it's more that the newer writers don't know the characters as well as the fans and they haven't seen the ways the characters have grown as well.
I think the episode did have more than a few good gags.
Yeah, Moondancer's return was the only thing that really stood out in this episode. Otherwise it's just a typical Twilight freak-out episode, which is getting old. When you can lampshade it, that's when you know you've done it too often.
