I think I read that one before. (My own work in progress fic has the character pulled into Equestria through a botched demonic summoning ritual and promptly explodes along with the overloading summoning circle in a mana backlash, but my OC Qet isn't human at all so it's just annoying)

(Remember kids, dividing by zero doesn't work for magic either!)

And I recall an even older one on Fimfic where Lyra and some human's food pantries get linked-- Lyra screws up a spell to make the pantry bigger on the inside than the outside.

Love how only one of them even remotely has an explanation. Of course "unspecified interdimensional X" goes for the majority of HiE stories really. Granted a lot of the time that's part of the charm if handled right.

Of course with how much Greek and Arthurian legends I've been pouring into my own HiE idea I couldn't help but to come up with some kind of explanation. Wasn't really something I'd intended, but rather just happened naturally as I applied Earth legends to the story.
