Also, I'm on Goodreads? How does that even work?
Is there some script pulling me onto there, or did someone do that?
Internet?!
"Fluff" in the same way what collects under the sofa is fluff.

I'm looking.
T'was I, I hope you don't mind. I do use some scripts to make listing-creation easier but I select and review which books I make listings for.
Basically, you're an author. I don't see why fanfic should be considered any less valid a genre than any other, as far as that's concerned. :)

It's cool, I just know nothing about Goodreads or how it works so was genuinely baffled how I showed up there.
Those people are going to be plenty confused, these stories explain nothing.

A benefit of fanfiction, I find, is that unless I'm adding my own bollocks everyone present is more or less on the same page.
Though I'll admit a soft spot for the "act like everyone knows what you're talking about and let them work it out as the story goes along" school, too.

It's basically meant as a book recommendation engine. People rate and review books they've read, and then Goodreads tries to build up a profile of the sort of story they like based on their reviews and recommends books that people with similar profiles have liked. There's also some "social media" stuff for readers and authors to talk about books.
