I'm still kind of stunned and shellshocked by the news. MythrilMoth has passed away. He was a major fixture of the site, and I'm going to miss him. Rest in peace, man.

Sucks. I don't want to post on his brother's blog because that's just poor form, but honestly he came across as a petty asshole most of the time, and I'm genuinely shocked that he was 40 years old. I liked some of his stories though.

Wow, man, I can't believe it, I've heard he wasn't the nicest, but he apparently has had some pretty large issues with depression, I definitely liked a few of his stories, and I'm sad he is gone, and that we'll never get to know how he wanted to finish his un-finished stories.

Why does it surprise you about his age? I've met several older bronies at cons, and while I'm not his age I am older than most I know.

It's not about his age and liking MLP; I have nothing against that and it would be hypocritical of me if I did. Rather, it was the way he acted and talked to people who didn't agree with him. I was 95% certain he was either a high school student or freshly at college; finding out he was double my estimate was surprising.
