Four Months Of Waiting, One Day Of Execution · 7:04am May 7th, 2019

IT'S FLIGHT DAY AT LAST! ✈ In a little less than sixteen hours, I'll be headed to the airport to fly off to see my beautiful baby girl! Four months of saving, hard work, and a lot of planning have all culminated in this trip becoming a reality, and I am really so proud of myself for making it this far.

But this trip wouldn't have happened without my fantastic commissioners. To each of you, who helped me earn my way to this trip, who supported me with your kind words and amazing plots, I want to personally say thank you. Without your help, this wouldn't have happened. You guys have gone above and beyond to help me out, and I am so grateful to you. This trip was so immensely important to me, and because of you guys and all of your help, I'm going to be celebrating Mother's Day with my little girl for the first time ever. There aren't words for that level of thankfulness. Maybe that's why we have tears instead when we can't find the words.

I've spent four months dreaming (and more than once having hellish nightmares about the airport portion) of this day. I haven't seen my little princess since December 16th of last year, and at seven AM my time the following morning, the wait will finally be over and I will get to hold her again. I can't tell you how important that is to me. Even if we don't do anything (which is highly unlikely), just seeing her again is more of a gift than anything. I can't wait to hear her laugh, feel her hugs, and watch her eyes light up at the presents I've gotten her (there are five, and one I made myself!). Six whole days of pure, amazing togetherness. I couldn't imagine anything better than that. This is what I've been waiting for. Hell, this is my Christmas.

So, my fimfiction family, I will be updating about my trip periodically, but I wouldn't get my hopes up for new fics. I'll be pretty busy. But I will, however, have wifi on my flights both ways, so I'll be on here to check in.

I'm so excited I can't see straight.
