Okay, for the most vigilant among you, you may or mayn't have noticed I've been posting each chapter of A Lapse of Reason weekly. This has helped build some consistency in my writing process, although I'll admit also put me under quite a bit of pressure. Nothing I couldn't handle if I just gritted my teeth and wrote through it -- ignore my procrastinating habits and forced myself to focus.
I still plan on doing this, but due to a certain complication regarding my mother and a perceived lack of direction in my life, this next chapter has been delayed. Don't worry, this does not mean I'm dead, or the fic's going into hiatus. I'll easily finish it today, but I'll publish it on another day. I'm thinking my Saturday morning, America's Friday evening.
I've been eyeing that date for a while anyway, figuring more people would be free, or willing to unwind when it's the final day of the average work week. Then again, I'm unemployed, and from Australia, so what do I know?
Just a small update on things.
Oh, and I think I'll be posting the next chapter of The World Turned Upside Down alongside it. I feel maybe the first chapter needs a slight rewrite to make it more engaging and accessible, but for the adventurous among you, who like characters with depth, a winding plot of intrigue, and mature (NOT LEWD) narrative explored within the confines of a borderline E rating, this may be the story for you.
