What do you think about other schools outside of Equestria? I made one and I would like for you to judge it if possible?

5036478
Other schools of what? thought? Magic? K-12?

5036489
Well here this.

The school is called Zsukūru, it's a ancient school located dead center in the Mahō No Mori forest, in the Country of Jaboku (mlp equivalents of Japan). The school is a 10 story squarish building that's made of silver silver simmering bricks. The school is only has 900 students, the students are Dragons, Ponies, and Dranies (dragon pony hybrids).

So to answer your question it's a 9-12 school that teaches magic along with other subjects.

I sometimes see stories by you with interesting premises; but the titles and descriptions are so sloppy that I don't want to imagine what the actual stories are like. Have you considered using some of your Patreon income to employ an editor?

5036495
Could be interetesing. To be honest your going to need alot of world building for that to make sense though. Either way I wish you luck.

5036498
Which one is sloppy and in what way?
I also do have an editor, they merely only check out my sfw stories though.
Also, I'm looking through them now, and yeah some of them are kinda sloppy, that being said some were written 2-4 years ago so I like to think my ability has increased since then. Going through and editing them now actually. If you find any particularly egregious examples, feel free to drop them here.

5036507
Oh trust me, I spent a very long time on this school.

How much of Starcraft have you played?
What made you think it would make a cool crossover?

5036517
I own all the games, have played all of them, and used to play starcraft brood war tournaments with my buddies back in the day. I love those games, I also own a few of the books, though they are a bit hit or miss in regards to quality. (Though I just flew through legacy of the void and didnt enjoy it very much so I honestly cant remember half of what happened)

What really struck me as good cross over potential was the finer points of the lore that aren't explored as much as I like. A cross over gives me a good excuse to draw on my extensive lore knowledge, but twist it in such a way to make it my own, and in my opinion make it interesting. I also personally love the zerg, and stukov is my single favorite character so exploring that aspect of infestation, and change while also throwing magic into the mix is a very intriguing premise to go deep on.

Plus I love any excuse to comb through the zerg articles in the wiki.

5036521
Cool, I just downloaded Starcraft 2 because I was intrigued by your story. Can't wait to see what else you do.

5036524
The first two games (the original and its expansion) have gotten a rerelease with new graphics and I would highly recommend them, but if you arent a fan of the old style of graphics then at least watch a lore recap video before you start number 2 as starcraft has a very, very involved story that you will feel like your lost in, if you dont have the neccessary back story.

I also highly recommend grabbing the heart of the swarm expansion, as it is in my opinion the single best story or expansion or whatever, in starcraft. But hey, thats just the inner zerg fanboy talking.

How are you?

Jest #12 · Apr 1st, 2019 · · 1 ·

5036531
A little stressed but otherwise pretty good, thanks for asking.

Do you have an idea on how the Zerg story will end or are you focusing on something else?
For the sister story as you described it in the summary, are not continuing that or are you still working on it? With how you write celestia it would be quite interesting.

5036544
I have this arc and the next more or less fully plotted out, and I have the next 10 or so months of updates planned and ready but the exact ending isnt in stone yet and is jsut a loose outline and a vague idea at this point.

As for Destiny Reforged, I am writing it on the side every once and awhile I'll put some more htought into its outline, or pen some extra words into chapter two, but I'm not really willing or able to pour myself into another story without finishing another story. Maybe one day I'll make adding it to the monthly que a patron goal, but right now I just don't have the time to give it the attention it deserves.

5036507

Which one is sloppy and in what way?

Which one isn't? Some of the titles are decent, but just from a couple weeks ago:

A Typical Day Of Crusading

Short prepositions are left lowercase in titles.

Calamity and Ponyville go together like peanut butter and jam

Do people say "peanut butter and jam"?

, this everyone knows.

Comma splice.

Though it is a little strange that demons are getting involved, then again whenver the cutie mark crusaders are involved things tend to go south.

  • Double flip. (Not sure the technical term.)
  • Another comma splice.
  • "Whenver".
  • What are "demons" in MLP? Do ponies even have the word?
  • "Cutie Mark Crusaders" is a proper noun.

Just not usually this south.

  • Now a triple flip.
  • "South" is not an adjective.
  • Unnecessary meme video link.

Done as a request for a patron! Head on over there if you want your chance to get a story like this written for just five bucks.

Not strictly ungrammatical, but very ambiguous; as though you want it to sound like five bucks is the price of the story, rather than just the price of a chance at one.

73 stories is a lot to go through in one sitting, so it makes sense to me to outsource it; but I guess it depends on your situation and budget.

5036571
I will continue to go through my stories and give their descriptions a facelift, but I will warn you, however, that if tiny grammatical inaccuracies in the descriptions of silly stories that are intended to be random, sets you off to the point that you leave the page in a rage-induced tissy, that you had best leave this platform entirely.
Either that or just get over yourself and dont spend hours pouring over the most minute of gramatical errors.

5036576
...Did I misunderstand your question? I thought you were asking me to identify a story of yours with a sloppy title and description, and explain in what way it was sloppy.

Are you sure, that you aren't actually a pony with a writing cutie mark reaching across dimensions?

5036605
Your entire argument boiled down to nitpicks, and not liking memes. That seems more like a you having issues with the content problem, then a true failing on my part.
5036617
No, definetly not and any assumption otherwise shall be considered slamfer, I mean slander, stupid hooves.

What's your favorite type of Zerg?
What's do you like most about writing your characters?

5036656

What's your favorite type of Zerg?

Hydralisk. I remember seeing the unit in this cinematic and loving it. Plus its movement, and the fact that it shoots spines are just fucking metal.

What's do you like most about writing your characters?

Two things. One, a challenge. I hate rainbow dash, shes mostly written as little more then an egotistical moron and in the show she comes off that way and I want that character to be good. This kind of extends into other characters.
Two, exploring these characters. This is partially the first one, but I sometimes catch myself thinking stuff like: "What would happen if this character did this, or had this happen to them?"
Its pretty fun, and helps me learn how to write for different characters.

5036702
Same as zerglight, I have the next major arc planned out, as well as the current one, but the ending and the final arc are both nebulous right now. I'm actually hoping to be able to sit down this weekend and simply plot out the ending of either Born In Light, Zerglight, or First Law, or all three if I'm feeling empowered enough.

Do you know if there are any future plans for,in service of mistress moon?

5036672
My face type of Zerg as well. I was always a fan of trying to cross them with an ultralist, so we'd have a giant alien naga that spit spines and could shred stuff up close.

5036742
Not as of right now, but I'm always open for someone to commission me, or request an additional chapter on patreon. That being said I do want to give it the light of day, eventaully.

1. Favorite food to eat when you want to splurge and/or celebrate.

Homemade pizza with like a bajillion toppings, or gummy candy and vanilla coke.

2. Favorite alcohol and/or beer.

There was this orange seasonal beer I drank about five years ago that was the tasiest thing I've ever consumed but they never ended up making it again. Nowadays I settle for a good white beer.

3. Of the all the pony merch you own, if you own any, which do you cherish the most?

I have a wall of plushies with the mane six minus rainbow Dash, unicorn and alicorn Twilight and a nightmare moon, chrysalis and vampire bat Pinkie Pie. Though Pinkie Pie is perhaps my most cherished as she was the first one I ever bought.

4. Have you every cosplayed and if so what's the most fun or embarrassing cosplay you've ever done?

Not really, though my favorite is to cosplay as a team rocket grunt because its easy and its a good excuse to spout random one liners and cheesy dialogue.

5. Have you been to any mlp conventions and do you plan on going to any this year or in the future? Or any conventions at all.

I've wanted to, but I've always been too poor. I live in the middle of nowhere canada and its tough to get anywhere. I would love to but at this rate I feel like I've missed the bus a bit.

6. State and/or country you want to visit the most.

I dont know honestly, Japan, Europe maybe.

7. Favorite clop story and why you liked it.

Dunnu, I have too many favorites to pick, but maybe Cadance's baby quest, or Twilight's midnight violations because they hit like, all my fetishes.

8. Most unusual fetish/topic/character you've written about that you ended up actually enjoying.

The debts story had a really fun and freindly angle to it that I really enjoyed writing.

9. Favorite irl sex toy and why its butt plugs XD

Lol I dont have one really, though if I had to pick I would probably say a nice medium sized vibrator as I can usuaully make someone finish in no time with one of those.

10. Sexiest part of the human body.

Tits or legs, depending on if its a dude or a chick.

11. Bottom, top, or both? What you enjoy the most about this position/role?

Firm top, I love being in control, and I seem to gravitate towards people who enjoying giving that control to me. Though I can be a bit of a switch if I find someone that is usually a bottom but occasionally wants a change.

Ooh from Canada then. What's the best hiking/outdoor activity you've tried out there?

What's your favorite movie?

What brought you to writing? Do you have goals outside writing that you aspire to?

How's the family doing?

5036820
No worries, you haven't missed the bus. Even if all the major brony conventions peter out, there's always NYCC and SDCC, and those will never die. SDCC is better btw.

Not quite as friendly as Bronycon, but a similar overall vibe, and a fun time. And honestly the larger diversity of topics is nice.

5036952

Ooh from Canada then. What's the best hiking/outdoor activity you've tried out there?

I hiked out in B.C and climbed a mountain which was pretty cool. Beautiful country out there.

What's your favorite movie?

I dont think I have one, but right now my favorite show is life death and robots. Or was it love death and robots? Well whatever, its good.

What brought you to writing? Do you have goals outside writing that you aspire to?

The drizzt dourden series, as well as dungeons and dragons, they were potent inspirations that made me want to create more stories for people to enjoy.

How's the family doing?

Better now, my mom is up walking around and some of the troubles my brothers were going through seem to be behind them. I'm thinking this summer is shaping up to be a good one!

5036953
I mean miss the bus in the fact that I used to run a gaming group that I would have loved to meet up with, but unfortuently I was too poor for that. I dont even know if I would go if I could nowadays.

5037063
Yeah Love Death and Robots is great; Episode 2 is my personal favorite.

How do you feel about 100% Orange Juice?

5043401
More like 100% pulp.
