Just stop it. I don't know how stories end up getting featured but changes need to be made. Stop featuring clopfics. I don't go to the feature box looking for clopfics. If I wanted to read clopfics then I would go to the clopfics group. I go to the feature box to find great stories, because the stories that are featured that aren't freaking porn are usually pretty good. Some of the best stories I've read I found in the feature box; it's one of the reasons I love this accursed website. So it really gets on my nerves everytime I check out what stories are featured and half of it is freaking clopfics. I don't know if others feel the same way about this; it could be just me. Maybe everyone goes to the featured box looking for clop. I certainly don't. Only one person follows me. To that person: please spread this around.
Possibly helpful advice; look at the Featured column with the Mature Filter on. You run the risk of missing out on the occasional non-Clop Mature story, but you'll consistently dig up some Everyone/Teen-Rated gems.

I know a secret way to find under the radar stories, look in the browsing section. A lot of good stories are there that go along to their obscure 80k word deaths. Blink and you will miss something you will never see again, the whole time you weren't looking there your eyes were closed. It's also filled with a lot of stuff that doesn't look so good so you just have to do a little bit of searching, really not very much, the obscure passion projects make it worth it.
I'm lazy, if you find something cool can you show it to me? I blink a lot and miss a lot of cool stuff. Stuff I would undoubtedly never be able to find, they need to feature those on more groups. Doesn't help that it can't be saved on the way back machine either. All gone-Away to the wind.

Also, a way that works much better is to go on the Wayback Machine and check out this site in an earlier age. It lets you see the featured page from a long time ago and a lot of other things, there's a lot of interesting stuff saved there.
