WOW! Another Newsies, less than a week after the last one?! What is this magic?!
Sorry, I’m freakin’ exhausted, right now. Just got in from ten hours on the road. Me and the family are moving again, as some of you who read the last Newsies might’ve noticed. We’re heading back out of state again, because Oklahoma has just gotten too damned . . . bleh. Anyway, today the three of us and our fat little dachshund, Greta, spent ten bloody hours on the road, in the front seat of a rental pick up truck, heading in to Fort Smith, Arkansas.
After helping my dad to navigate his way through the interstates and turnpikes, and nearly getting lost trying to find a rest stop, we finally made it to town. Checked in at the Wally World we’ll be working at now, and then toddled off and got an apartment to rent. We have one week to pack up everything and prepare our flanks, fore next Saturday we move!
This is going to be a hectic, tiring week, folks, so don’t expect much of anything out of me for a bit, until after we’ve moved and things have calmed down. I’m just gonna be too damned tired to do any serious writing, I fear.
