...but Friendship is Magic is indeed ending after S9. As it says up there in my profile, I still like the show a lot, so I will miss it when it's gone. But nevertheless, I think it's the right time, and I'm interested to find out what G5 will bring. What a ride it's been, though. And it won't stop just because the show does. Slow down maybe, but not stop.

My question now, since this is confirmation of something that was suggested... What, back before S8 started? Is how real are all the G5 leaks now? Like, how much of that is actually going to get used moving forward?

I have no idea, since I've tried hard to avoid the leaks. I expect some of them will happen, though. The days of "Oh, those leaks must have been made up by someone who hates us!!!!" comments are definitively over. Thankfully.

If nothing else, assuming they were all legit -- and there's no reason not to -- you don't put in that much time and effort on developing something only to shift track a few years out because someone got hold of your assets early.
