But in all seriousness, all Little Memories is still probably a ways out, I figured it might not be a bad idea to start putting out some additional Little Flashes stuff to keep you guys entertained while we wait. This story will cover several events from the Little Flashes series, including but not limited to:
- How Rainbow's parents died
- How she was adopted by Celestia
- The backstory of Wind Whisper and her family
- How the other members of the mane 6 coped with their flashes before the Summer Sun Celebration at the end of Glimpses
- How Celestia's own future self contacted her.
The first story in this anthology is already written, and as such, the story will probably be going live here in a few days. My new editor, Chromio, just needs to run over it to make sure it's all good narratively, then I need to take a revision pass, then we fix grammar and spelling and throw it up here for you all to read.
I've actually had the idea for this story for quite some time, and I described it in this blog post from a ways back.
