Which direction should the plot of The Dragon And The Pony take? · 3:48pm Dec 26th, 2018
Hey guys,
I have some version of the next chapter in my mind and I am honestly not sure which one I should take. I have the content and the outcome more or less ready in my head, but the question is what do you want? I mean, I got good feedback for the romance and set up in the first chapters, also some about the fluffyness but with my last chapter, which focused on the adventure and worldbuilding a lot more, things changed. It is not like someone complained directly, but there was no feedback if it has pleased you all like the frist chapters did.
So the question is, what do you guys want me to focus on with the story? Would you prefer some more adventure and action scenes, or would it be better to return to the cuddling and romance stuff as quickly as possible?
Or something completly else? What shall it be?
Honestly, I found the story to be good so far. Adventure sounds good, and it’s not like you can’t use it to advance the romance between them. In fact you can even make it a mix: have the dragon chasing Daring around, help her when she is in difficulty, capture her (playfully) and let her escape to continue the game. But that is just how I would have made the story to be if I was the author, you have perhaps other ideas in mind.

Many thanks for your opinion and ideas
Well yes, I have some ideas in mind but thats the point of this blog post, I want to know what my stories fans want. 'chasing Daring around' is something that defenetly will happen, considering the last chapter, while things like 'help her when she is in difficulty, capture her (playfully) and let her escape to continue the game' are optional, since I first want to figure out where to focus on. Your suggestions would go along with focus more on the fluffy cuddle part, since I would write 'capture her (playfully)' out in detail
Sorry, I wasn't able to reply earlier than I was supposed to, things happen raids, goblins slaying and chocolate wine! (I am a chocoholic) and eggnot!
You are doing great with the whole romance and fluffiness and adding some action with a side of adventure is not a bad thing, it makes it a bit spicier and worldbuilding is not a bad thing just not too much that it sidetracks from the main plot. I have an anime as an example of too much world building: Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody, it is a good anime, the animation is great the story is good but it feels like at times it is overexplaining how the world works too much. I recommend it!
As to the previous chapter, it left me wondering with a few thoughts
He was right on killing the Ludewig and not Lucia, she was wasted on him but would that mean that we are going to see Lucia later on? Is she going to chase after BD? If she is chasing him, would she see him different light and fall for him? Would the black dragon have both a fluffy Pony and Griffin? Would we see some crazy Dragon saving Pony/and Griffin from Do's enemies?
PS. Feliz Navidad!

Good to know your opinion too
'see Lucia later on' I am sure that wasn't the last time we heard from her
So romance and stuff now. And let parenthood or something else be adventureous in the sequel ^^
