You may be wondering why there was no blog last week, and equally why this is being posted on Tuesday. If so, then your answer is that I've been busy. Work is getting to the point where we have nothing going on, but I know enough now that I usually have things to do. If I don't, then I've started to draw again to get back in the swing of things. So, what's the deal? This is the deal.
My first 'adult' purchase. I'm unlicensed, I don't even own my own helmet yet, but this has been what is consuming my time. Recently, I've taken a step back to look at the story as a whole again, and I've come to the conclusion that most of the hopes and dreams in this story usually lean on my hopes and dreams. When I was very young, my dad dressed me up in harley gear and bought me a harley themed bicycle. My cousins owned dirt bikes and I always loved to ride. Had we the money, I likely would've had a bike in high school years and years ago. Now though... I have the money. A real job, the income to support it and even enough to pay it off without even accruing 100$ in interest thanks to the deal I got. I am living out the good parts of the story. A dream 18 years in the making and it's finally real.
Of course, this is a KTM RC 390, nothing anywhere even in the same class of bike as a Harley Davidson, but it's a bike, alright. A fast bike. Yesterday was my first time riding a bike in something like twelve years, so I needed my licensed friend to come remind me how to ride (and also steal his helmet since he is between bikes right now). It didn't take long for me to remember what to do, and sure enough I managed to get comfortable enough to speed around the neighborhood. The next two weeks is going to be torture since I'm not planning on risking going out too far without a license, but we'll get there eventually.
As for Super, I plan to get a chapter out next Monday since I did most of the framework for this ages ago while I was still at walmart. It shouldn't take too long, but this is story beat 1/5 of the last 5 story beats in Super, so we're real close. The end is near. With any luck, I'll get this finished before Super's third anniversary, but I'm thinking I will get it done faster than that.
Anyways, that's all from me. Persona 18 should start on Christmas eve, and if it doesn't, then New Years eve.
