Hey everpone, quick update here (and crazy, twice in the same week). But Zutcha's been working overtime with these covers, so both these new stories get to transition here from Patreon in just a few days.
Bit different from anything I've written before, not part of any universe. If I had to describe it, it would be a pony cyberpunk mystery, with lots of inspiration from current technology and computing. Like what would happen in Neuromancer and Rainbow's End had a baby in Equestria.
If that sounds awesome, and it should because it is, then you should check it out!
Sounds vaguely Friendship Is Optimal-y, though if there's mystery elements, that should be a lot of fun. :D

Yeah, there's definitely some similar DNA involved. It was originally going to be an FiO story, until I had a think and ultimately figured that FiO's inherent structure would ultimately make the story less interesting. In that universe, it feels like CelestAI either uploads you or you kill yourself (sometimes by attrition). I wanted something that gave me a little more freedom.
Hmm... occurs to me that this ought to be in the same universe as Message in a Bottle... but many thousands or millions of years beforehoof. Having it thus would explain why Equestria (the ringworld) is full of ponies, and not humans or penguins or something entirely alien...
