    Help Wanted

So the idea behind posting this mess was originally to cleanse my palette: clear out all the old unfinished junk, and set out to new, greener pastures with new, better ideas for stories that I could write, now that I have the time and inclination to do so.

    Further Context

Things as I spoke about them in my last blog largely went as planned. I finished up my studies, did pretty damn well in a few things, and I'm all set to start work at the beginning of February. Got my shoes and shirts, slowly learning what an iron is for, etcetera and so on.

A great value of fanfiction is in the context that automatically surrounds any work you create. Biblical Monsters for example, would have difficulty being such a focused, tragic tale of miscommunication without the MLP context. In some sense, this whole site is one big collaborative writing project.

    Well this is interesting.

Hey everybody, how's it going? I've been super busy with tonnes of work all year – went up a year in uni, took on an extra subject, got a part-time job, started some personal projects – and thus very scarce around these parts. It's work I'm glad to be doing, and I'm learning a lot and generally having a good time, but I just haven't had a lot of time for pony stuff, and that probably won't change

That feel when 10+ blog post notifications

Twilight's new hairstyle will be the shark-jumping moment for this show, I'm certain of it. Time to start writing Littlest Pet Shop fics.

    Also... I like this theory.

Rewatched it. I genuinely never got why everyone complained about this movie being confusing.

Great game, but firmly on the narratology side of narratology vs ludology (i.e. you'd likely get much the same take-away watching an LP as actually playing it)

What a trip.

Be seeing you!

Unrelentingly vulgar, but that's what makes it so frighteningly plausible.

Haven't finished it, but definitely worth reading if you liked John Dies at the End.

A cute little romcom that thought it was a sci-fi piece.

New I Dream of Daisies chapter as soon as I get done proving my hipster cred finding inspiration. But how are you?

I loved Transmetropolitan, I'll trust that you did too :)

(and no, I didn't find Inception remotely confusing)

Been busy pre-reading, not reading any of the stories I actually want to, and writing a story about Twilight getting brainwashed and mind raped by Nightmare Moon. So, life's okay.

Transmet is literally the best thing. Ever.

people who think inception was confusing plz

You almost got it right. Next time, do it without the captions. F'naaaa

I really did. Incredibly detailed setting, engaging writing, and some important things to say.

It amazed me how the first storyline warmed me up to Spider. I mean, at the start of the comic, I was thinking "what a jerk", but by the time he was done writing that column about the transient riot, I was thinking "okay, yeah, I get this guy now, he's pretty cool".

And that ending... I heard some people where upset by it, but I really loved that ending.

The usual, then. I respect you prereaders for taking so much time to read stories you don't like. I don't think I could ever do the job.

A moment of weakness.

That's a shame. We sent out a call for interested parties to apply, and good lord, most of the applicants are terrible.

473245 I'm considering it, but I'm not convinced I'm the sort of person you're after.

The ending might have been my favorite part, to be honest. Gosh I love that series so much.
Anyway yeah. +100 brodude points for having read Transmet.
