Chapter 26 · 10:18am Oct 25th, 2018
Some of you may have noticed that a chapter of SAPR was published briefly and then disappeared. This is because it was pointed out to me on another forum that the chapter was abruptly darker in tone than what had come before, and since that wasn't what I wanted I have withdrawn the chapter to work on it some more.
Darker isn't necessarily a problem, in general and to my tastes in particular, but if it's not what you wanted, reworking it sounds reasonable enough. You're a pretty good author and I hope you stay inspired.
In my opinion, so long as it fits in with where the story is going, I wouldn't be opposed to a darker chapter. Remember, Harry Potter got darker as the series went on, not because the author was an edge lord, but because it had a narrative reason.
Admittedly it was a sharp turn with the Disembowelment of a woman. I do question why any of the high ranking members of Cinders plan were there as attackers (considering Cinder wanted to observe I could see her masquerading as just another civilian). at this point it would be incredibly bad for Cinder if either she or Adam were caught and attacking the court house, (unless it has a lot of underground escape routes) is incredibly risky. That said since they are Freeing white fang I could see Adam having his trusted Lieutenant (mister chainsaw) head the mission... who frankly wouldn't do too much differently from Adam exempt be less of a danger to the plan if he is caught or as strong (still kicked Wiess's butt).
That depends entirely on you, I think your trying to Show Sunset's standing in this Whitefang fiasco and it shows Sunset opposing Adam and convince Wiess or even atlas she isn't their enemy
