Loved it! A few little quibbles, not all the acting from the newcomers was stellar and sadly parts of the gender-related stuff felt awkward and forced, eg "something a male-presenting Time Lord wouldn't understand", but I liked much more than I didn't. Plus one of my worries about the new Disney-cash-infused Who has been dispelled: this definitely did
Fortunately not in the literal sense! But yeah, I'm currently stuck at home, yet not feeling well enough to concentrate on ponyfic. It's a seriously annoying combination.

It was incredible. There's a story behind it... in 2013, the first MLP con I ever went to, BUCK, also had EileMonty as a guest. She sang "I am Octavia" -- my favourite of her songs -- and I missed it, because I was in a side room watching The Living Tombstone play obscure stuff I knew nothing about. So I thought I'd never hear her sing it live. Five years later, I got my chance. I don't mind saying I had tears in my eyes. It was a really special moment.
As it happens, a fellow attendee recorded it -- the con people are doing an official video, but they're always really slow. This one was taken from the midst of the crowd, so there's a lot of noise. I was up on a side balcony and the sound was much clearer, but I wasn't recording. Still. here we are:
