Alright! September is here, which means time to finally do my update thing!
I'm aware I've been relatively quiet on the site recently and that's because I'm doing a lot of work behind the scenes. I have been storming through my writing as of late, though nothing's deem fit for putting out on the site yet, so it may still take a couple more days to iron out the little details. As I've been working back and forth between them, they're all making the same amount of progress, so that's all good.
Once it's 100% done, they're gonna be published at the same time. I'd say by the end of this week, if not the middle of next week.
Again, we start with:
Panthalassa
The hours I've spent researching for this chapter just to get the smallest things right was distressing.
Right now, I'm working on the first day of their expedition where our company travels to the atoll for the first time. As most of it's going to be just them coming up with ways to search for the source of our mystery beam of light, it will be a breeze to sort through before I once again return to another round of speculative banter between our cast. Nothing too shocking's about to happen in this chapter yet, though the next one's definitely going to amp up the mystery aspect of it a little.
Lot of things to set up in preparation for the chaos that's about to happen later on. The chapter will be out side-by-side with:
Perhaps Death
The Doctor and Caramel, once again.
This current chapter I'm working on is, again, setting up for some big things coming in the near future, featuring our resident Time Lord and farmer having a chat, both in the past and in the present. It'll be quite short, much like the previous chapter, this time mainly focusing on Caramel and developing his character a little. Their relationship together is a bit of a complicated mess to sort through, though it won't all be done in this chapter. Lots of hurdles I wanna get past first to solidify Caramel's place in the story before really closing the curtains on this arc. If you think the closer of the first arc was huge, this one would be colossal.
Again, this and Panthalassa will be simultaneously updated by the end of the week. Now, for some other stories coming down the pipe:

New short story incoming!
I've mentioned working on this story before back in June. I hadn't had the chance to go back to it but after giving it a second look, I decided to just revamp the whole thing by providing a more interesting perspective on things.
Looking at the rough draft I'm working on right now, it's sharing similarities with Philosophize, Amid Tranquil Halls, though I'd say this one's a less dark take on the approach. It'll still be a sad little tale featuring an old pony, though this time with Princess Celestia out of the picture.

To Prepare A Paradise
Another Princess Celestia story. Well, only my second featuring her in the spotlight, but still.
This story started out with me diving my fingers into the recent FimFic Short Story WriteOff competition last month. Suffice to say, I was less than enthused by the result, mostly because the concept I had for the story can't possibly be crammed below the word limit for the competition. Nevertheless, with that out of the way, I'm slowly refining and polishing it behind the scenes.
Hopefully, it'll come out some time soon!
Well now, that's a lot of stuff to work on! Again, I'll be focusing solely on the former two stories first, since they're close to being done. I'm just hoping nothing else (like an infected wisdom tooth) comes in my way again.
