I still squee when I see one of FiMFic's big names drop by!

I still hang out here, still lurk, still read and re-read. I haven't watched the show regularly since the Season 6 opener; been disappointed with repetitive plots, idiot-balling of Twilight, and the growing Starlight Show. I watched the movie and I catch each season finale and opener. Other than that, and checking EQD regularly for interesting news, I've been quiet and kept quiet.

Still read and squee, though!

Eh, I disagree with your assessment of the show as I think it's done a lot of good stuff even if there's some meh tier stuff, but it's good to see you around still. :> Hoping to attempt to cobble some Tuna words again at some point and writing for a few ships I've not poked at before.

At some point I'll binge the last three seasons and probably wonder why I didn't do so sooner. For me the series was secondarily an ensemble show, but primarily it was about Twilight. Her journey from reclusive bookworm to friend to Princess of Friendship was, for me, the framing device for the entire series. I wanted, hoped, that they'd continue her evolution but it feels now like the only time they use her is for plots like "Twilight forgets everything she knew about friendship," "Someone has to remind Twilight of things she knew by heart and applied successfully four seasons ago," or worse/similar. I'm probably exaggerating. Supposedly the Season 8 finale will air early (Australian / French version), so I hope it'll treat her well and set up something decent for the final season.

Also I have a watch on The Face of Magic. So encouraging to see good, quality content that still manages to feel new.

4925987 That is fair, though I'll argue some of it is newer applications and such, but that's very much splitting hairs.

And I'm glad you've enjoyed that one so far. I was rather pleasantly surprised with how many people jumped on the first chapter and liked the worldbuilding that's come about since. Hopefully I can meet expectations haha. I've been sorta wanting to do more fantasy element and adventure stuff with my romance stories, so I've got a few things in the works - that Tuna has been kinda brainstormed and a ChryLight fic has been started, because why not overload and just go nuts 8D

This reminds me of the time GhostOfHeraclitus favourited and commented on my least favourite story. I was caught between squeeing because sempai noticed me and correcting his misunderstanding.
