Hey guys, long time no see. I'm making this post to check in since it's been a while, and seems like I've gained a few more followers, so yay for that! Thanks for your continued support!
I'm on my last week of my summer internship learning about Software Engineering, and it's been a lot of fun, while also learning a TON. I've learned how to use software like Git, Github, and Maven, as well as learning some engineering patterns such as Factory and Builder. It's sharpened my programming skills as well, and I might be getting a full time offer from them when I graduate!
My girlfriend and I are 8 months in and still going strong. I love her so much, and she's so amazing. It's been hard for us this summer since I've been away from her due to my internship. Long distance SUCKS. But I get to see her in a week though, so I'm going to shower her with all the love I can. My workplace has 3D printers for us to use, so I printed a heart clef for her (a treble clef/bass clef positioned to look like a heart, look it up, it's really common). I can't wait to give it to her. It's nothing big, but it's personal because she sings first soprano and I sing second bass. I have a girl whom I can do all those things for, and it's so fulfilling. She's quite literally made my dreams come true, as crazy as it sounds. It's so satisfying to see all my desires for what I'd do for a future girlfriend come to fruition.
I've been very happy lately, and I wanted to check in with the people who got me through some really rough times during my freshman and sophomore years of college. You were always there when I had a depression spell, and always made me feel better with your loving comments and support for what I wrote. I will forever be thankful, whether you're a new follower or have been there since the beginning. You guys supported me when I felt the whole world was against me, so again, thanks from the bottom of my heart.
So anyway, how are you guys? It's been minute!
That's all really good to hear, man. I hope things continue to go well for you. I'm actually gonna start my college adventure in a little more than 3 weeks from now, and the whole transition from high school is just really stressing me out.

I've been good, my Dualshock 4 controller either won't connect or won't charge so that sucks, but past that things are good.
My man, I'm glad that you're feeling great and that you have a girlfriend for 8 months and I know the feeling about long distance. I'm currently in a long distance relationship as well. Again, I wish you and your girlfriend the best of luck, I doing pretty great, summer is ending sadly and school is starting up again but the good news is that I am finally a high school student going to freshmen. Remember Jake, you are the luckiest guy alive my friend, you made people happy with your stories and taking a step away from the story to focus on real life was the best idea you have ever made, and if you can, you should show your girlfriend the amazing stories you wrote in the past and how much hard work and effort you put into them and how much love and support you have received from it. You have spoken to me before but I doubt you remember me but we both had a major crush on a character from the mane 7, you had a crush on Fluttershy and I had a crush on Rainbow Dash and you said I would find my Rainbow Dash and I said you'll find your Fluttershy and look where we are now, you're currently on your way to learning engineering and I'm currently on my way to learning movie making, acting, writing, video and audio editing and during that time, we both found our love. I would like to say, congratulations Mr. Jake, may your future continue to be bright and get brighter and happier as you go on.

Hope you two keep going at it, you seem to be doing good with her. Anyways, I'm so glad to hear you're doing amazing. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm glad you took some time off. It seems you've gotten very happier since we last heard from you, and I'm happy you're making it well with your girlfriend! Anyways, me? I'm... actually doing pretty well. While nowhere near having a girlfriend, I'm finally starting to open up a bit. I've got some more friends (both real life and on here) I'm staying alive, heck, I've got inspiration for A LOT of new work, so I'm very happy about that. Even my creative sides are kicking back into full swing, so I'm very happy about that as well.

Hey, dude. Wassup? Haven't heard from ya in a while. Sounds like your life did a 180 last time you were here, and I'm so happy for you. You're still the most awesome dude on the site. Because those guys seem like the kind of thing you would love. Pick any song on Youtube and listen to it first. You will not regret it.

Other than getting prepared for my last year of high school in a couple weeks and busy applying for universities, you could say I feel both ready and nervous to what's coming. But other than that, I've been great! I'm currently at BronyCon with some friends and hopes to fly back home tonight so that I can get back with my family.
