Epilogue is finished and posted. Covers a broad stretch of time which all happens within weeks to months of final chapter.
Could I have taken more time with additional chapters between the last chapter and what's presented here? Yeah, I suppose I could, but it would still involve a lot of time jumping and fluffing.
Truth be told this story exhausted me and I'll be taking a break from writing for a little while after this. I'm going to be busy job hunting and am still stressing over my job shutting down. I don't have the time, energy, or drive to have stretched this out to twice the length of already was at, and to really fill in everything between the chapter 70 and the epilogue that's what it would take.
On a personal note I couldn't possibly mentally deal with writing about Phobia's PTSD for 100K words. That is mentally and emotionally grinding for me, and is a grind on the readers as well. It might not have been where people wanted it to end, or how, but it's where I needed it to end.
I really like your story however I was looking forward to finding out what the foals were?

The reveal of the foal types would have happened beyond the timeline of the story even of I had done the full story. In my head I have them as both night pony foals, but don't consider that canon as ASGeek2012 or others may decide to go a different direction if there characters return in other stories.
