May Update

Hey guys, here to drop another update and tell you how things went this month. Spoiler Alert: surprisingly well despite everything that's happened.

That's definitely not bad, and a lot better than I've managed in quite a few months. Considering I had to go through training for my job this entire month as well, this is kinda impressive, at least to me. My goal is to get better next month, even if it's only by 100 words, or just by writing at least something every day which I couldn't manage this month.

I don't want to make any promises, but I'm definitely going to be trying to be more active now. Life has had its ups and downs, but at least there have been more ups lately. If you read my blog I posted last year on my birthday, that kinda happened again with a close friend of mine, but this time it wasn't nearly as amicable. That and my best friend's suicide is still weighing pretty heavily on me. It's hard to deal with all this mostly alone. I wish her the best though, and I'm trying not to let all this negativity crash my life anymore like it used to. Can't say for sure that it won't ever happen again, but I feel a little more confident now going forward that I can handle my life. It's been a pretty lonely month for me, and probably will be for the next couple of months while I do more with this job, but hopefully things will work out.

In other news, my patreon is currently not working. I know pretty much none of you actually do anything with it, but I'm currently locked out of it because I don't have the right two-step verification on my phone. I'll look into it, but for those of you that do use the perks I give, I unfortunately won't be able to upload there for the time being. I'll make a post there with my new stories if that changes any time soon.
