IN WHICH I WAS PRODUCTIVE SORTA

Going through my archive, I'm pretty sure I haven't posted this one yet. Now, onto the meat of the post…
After having to be an adult for most of the week, I've spend much of today in bed. But in so doing, I managed to get a little writing in. So I can now inform you that, at least provisionally, I have completed Sci-Twi Analyzes A Burrito. The reason I say "provisionally" is because, like Sonata's story from two-ish years ago, I have yet to include any music references, and everyone knows the Burritoverse stories have three rules they must abide by (even though I've broken two of these rules at least once).

- Cameo by at least one Dazzling
- Final word of story must be someone asking "What?"
So I'll need to fine-tooth-comb the story to see where I can throw in some song shout-outs. Once that's done, I can publish the story. As it takes place before the point in the timeline SRA is currently at, probably for the best it'll probably end up going live first. So whether you like it or not, more Burritoverse is coming soon. Although this one is, well, different.
Please remember: Nothing after Rainbow Rocks is canon to SRA or the Burritoverse.
I've also been doing some more tweaking to The Rejected in hopes I can get it up soon too. If not for my OCD (word counts must end in a multiple of 10 and/or 25) and the fact we're into the weekend -- when I never let my stories go live -- I'd publish the first chapter now, but I'm going to wait and see how I, hopefully with Nonchalant's help, can better tweak what I have. I've barely touched Chapter One in months, so it's due for messing with.
Yes, I finished setting up the story's pagespace, although I'm not 100% satisfied with the pic I'm using -- I'll check over the weekend to see if I can find a good pic of Rarity instead of the Sunset one I've got as a place holder (meant to be used for the final story).
That's really all that's going on right now in my world. So I'm gonna cut this blog short.

Rock on, man. I just sent the first half of my novel I’ve been working on to my readers today, and I’m trying like hell to get the second half to ‘em next week. I’ve needed to just quit screwing around and commit to this thing for a long time, for the sake of ever getting it done. I’m glad that you’re making progress too!

Congratulations, man!
As you know, I'm not a very driven fellow... unless I'm caffeinated or my brain is feeling off. My works are short, but I like to believe I take great care with the few words I write. I'm happy because, with the writing I've completed since buying this refurb laptop, everything is starting to come together so readers will finally start to see the big picture I've been building for over two years. I think even you might be surprised by the Sci-Twi story, as it has details I've never revealed to anyone. Or it could all land with a splat and/or thud. But I'll have done it on my terms.
