Heya readers!
So, you know those blog posts where writers talk about how they’re burnt out and can’t think of a story or a way to continue on their ongoing and then they take a quick or extended break to work through their writer’s block and get back on those ponies?
Yeah, this isn’t one of those.
First of all, yeah, my pace has slowed down a bit the last few months. Allergies have hit the hardest they ever have this year and it’s mildly debilitating. Thankfully, I at least KNOW that’s the issue so I can somewhat work through the problem. Now that I know what it is and accepted ot, I can control it… or something…
It’s like this, but with a ton more me chain poping cough drops into my mouth and spraying stuff up my nose.
Second, I have blog posts I neeeeeed to get to. I purposely set up my patreon as a way for people to get me to write about stuff I normally wouldn’t so that I wasn’t just getting paid for stuff I’d do anyways, and I’m behind and it’s eating away at my soul. So, expect more posts soon. These are good ‘cause I actually DO like blogging my opinion and they get me writing/researching stuff I might not do otherwise. So they’re only a curse in that I have another obligation to take care of, but hey… I get paid to write! That’s pretty rad.
Third off, I came up with three really solid fan-fic ideas in as many days… actually more like two days. I actually practically got finished with the first chapter of the second one before I came up with the idea for the third one and began jotting down some scenes and workshopping with my homies (the three peeps whose names show up on pretty much everything I publish now-a-days). I got a ton of ideas and a bunch of dialogue written before I realized I was maybe being TOO creative.
As much as I’d LOVE to get started on these, it’s likely best I play catch-up some more. Usually having a dozen or more irons in the fire doesn’t stop me when the muses start screaming, but a couple key issues is that TWO of these stories work better if I get further or even finish one of my stories that’s been waiting in the wings for a few months (just a few… Sorry All That Shimmers fans. ^_^;; ). So, Home-Again is likely going to get some love soon, and I think I’ll wrap up “Not Another Anon-A-Miss fic” sooner rather than later… granted that last bit was also kinda the plan. Basically, my blockage is more or less me having so many ideas that they all want to come out at once and I risk them stopping the flow that allows things out of my brain and onto my fingertips.

This has more or less happened before. MAD ended up getting me to wrap up For The Mare Who Has Everything, these next two pieces will likely do the same for Home-Again. Again, I also have blogs to write.
So, what does this mean for you? Uh…
… Okay, in hindsight, this blog post seems more like just me trying to get my ducks in a row then anything, but hey! News for you guys?
Anyhow, hopefully this simply means more activity on my end and a return to the fevered writing pace I tend to pride myself on that slowly grinds away at my editors souls. So… yay for me, yay for you guys, preemptive apologies to TOM, Steel, and Nova.

Whoops... there's a typo/word choice error I fixed. Yeah, Albi is gonna be sad too. I'll bet back to it because I actually love that fic... like most my fics, it's just not crucial to my latest story choo-choo... or something. Dan & Pinkie will also probably have to sit tight.

You'd be amazed how much that story comes up in conversation. I wouldn't worry about it too much at all, he's just experiencing an influx of plot bunnies.
Let him finish the rabbit stew, and E&S will probably come right after.
