IN WHICH I INCH CLOSER TO MY GOALS

Won't lie; I was planning on more Perfume or Laura's "Déjà Vu", but I had to promote the new. Anyway…
So today, I accomplished one of my goals, which was booking hotel rooms in Kansas City and Dallas so I won't have to sleep in my car when I leave town for those Babymetal shows in two weeks. Fuck that's coming up soon. I'm simultaneously almost excited yet terrified, as this is WAY outside of my comfort zone. And, unless my lady friend -- who has since become a fairly popular camgirl -- decides to go up to KC too, as she and her BF are both metalheads and have expressed interest, I'm on my own for most of a week. Fuck.
But before I leave, I'll likely have at least one thing for y'all. Something you and I have been waiting for. See:
Well fuck. It's not letting me embed the photos & screenshots I've uploaded to imgur for some reason. Didn't have any issue last time I did this, so why now?
Anyway, what I WANTED to show y'all is the next SRA story is almost ready to go. As luck would have it, its word count landed on a nice round number, but I still need to go over it at least one more time before it's worthy of sharing.
I still need to fix the image I plan to use for the story, but I should be able to do that later this afternoon after my appointment with my quack and seeing my ailing dad. I downloaded GIMP onto my computer about an hour ago. Now I just need to figure out how to use it. 
Nothing much else to say. If we're really lucky, I'll have two stories to tide you over while I'm on vacation -- the first proper vacation I've taken in about a decade. If not (and I'm leaning toward not, because I hate making promises I can't deliver), then at least I'll have my long-in-production next SRA entry ready to go within the next couple of days.
I plan to take this laptop with me in case I feel like writing while away from home. I may or may not get anything accomplished, but it'll be with me just in case.

Congrats on getting the hotels booked! :D That must've taken a lot of strength. :)
Hope the visits go well, and I got GIMP too but I don't use it much. Photoshop is so much more intuitive sometimes.
Gah, I've let my feed build up again and I'm catching up. It's awesome that you're getting out to check out some shows! I hope they go great!
