...but this is complete bullshit. I've put up with one of my supervisors and her harassment of me for nearly six months. Between legitimate complaints (which I have no problem with those) and the nitpicking of stupid shit (which I do have a problem with) I finally had enough of it tonight. As hard as it has been over the last six months to control my temper, hold my tongue and not walk out in the middle of my shift, I somehow found the strength to press on.
Before I continue, I'm not going to go into specific details as the powdered metals industry can be somewhat complicated.
Anyway, the parts that I was assigned to unload for my shift tonight were being flagged for damaged parts and would be sorted at a later time. The defect was found on the prior shift but due the about of time it takes to bake a powdered metal part (roughly 1.5 to 3.5 hours depending on the part), there was a possibility that some more defective parts were going to end up coming out of the furnace.
Back to the subject at hand, my supervisor stuck her nose where it didn't belong and it pissed me off. I tried keeping calm by pausing and using my anger control techniques, lying about what was wrong and continuing to do my job. And then the bitch said it: "Are you mad about something?"
Six months of holding my tongue was finally unleashed. I told her I was tired of her being on my case all the time and harassment that was associated with it. Because of her shit, I got the rest of the fucking night off.
I always knew politics were big at my workplace but I never guessed it went to the extent of supervisors harassing subordinates and getting away with it, but when the subordinates express their displeasure about being harassed, they get punished.
So my plans of working on Royal Conflicts are now shot since you can't work on a sad story if you're pissed off.
