    Additional Updates

What’s up fam- it’s your physically and temporally-absent boi here dropping back in.

Brief updates on life- been working my tail off (doctoring is hard) and got married last month. I haven’t forgotten about you all. There’s still plenty of stories rattling around upstairs; it’s just a matter of finding time to put fingers to the keyboard.

    My thoughts on Gen 5

Watched it on opening day on Netflix.

Pretty good, actually. Looking forward to writing new ponies to snug, and I bet the TV universe will be really interesting!

Whinny City 2018 Recap! · 12:46am Apr 17th, 2018

That might have been the best con I've been to yet.

Highlights:

- 10-12 people showed up for my fanfiction panel, which was awesome considering I got a Friday timeslot and not a Saturday one. (Someone recorded it and I'll let anyone who might be interested know when/where it's up)
- Met up with some super cool authors/editors/lurkers, among whom were CoffeeMinion, Vivid Syntax, Double R Forrest, and TheSillyDuck
- Got additional autographs from Kelly Sheridan and Andrea Libman (who remembered my face from my cringeworthy wine questions at her MLP Fair 2015 panel at the same hotel)
- Found out that Ian Hanlin (Sunburst) was not only the sleeper hit of the con but also a complete baller guy who deserves mad respect
- Spent too much money
- Went hard at the concert, hearing bomb sets from Odyssey Eurobeat and Geek Brony
- Saw a banner signed by the guests of honor go for $1500 at the charity auction
- Cried when the charity people cried on stage at closing ceremonies
- Was reminded why I go to these things

Tentative schedule for the rest of the year: Crystal Fair, Trotcon, Bronycon, Ciderfest.
Tentative schedule for 2019: Whinny City, Bronycon (?), Ciderfest

Hmu with that panel link, yo.

It was great seeing you there, man! I had a great time myself (had to leave early on Sunday, though). Hope to see you at Ciderfest and/or Bronycon, and thanks for the follow!

It was a lot of fun seeing you and the other writers. Hope to see you at more cons in the future.
