Happy Birthday Kathleen Barr · 2:47pm Apr 6th, 2018
Today is Kathleen Barr's birthday, she is the talented woman responsible for voicing Trixie, Queen Chrysalis, Dumb-Bell, and many other characters. She was also the voice of Kevin in Ed, Ed, 'n Eddy.
Happy birthday, Kathleen. I am curious as to what Season 8 has in store for you, and I hope it will be good.
Happy b-day!
Happy birthday Kathleen, may your birthday be a great and powerful one!
Did you know that Kathleen Barr also voiced Dot from the 3D cartoon show entitled Reboot?
If you ever watched the cartoon series Liberty's Kids (a PBS cartoon about the Colonial America and the American Revolution (1770-1789), Kathleen Barr voices a French indentured servant named Henri LeFebre. His parents died on the way to Colonial America and is rescued by a free African named Moses, who is Ben Franklin's major-domo. Henri helps Sarah, daughter of a British Major Phillips, and James Hiller, a budding American journalist, write stories about unsung heroes of the American Revolution. They meet the usual heroes of the American Revolution like George Washington, Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, the Marquis de Lafeyette and Baron von Stuevben (the German drill instructor at Valley Forge). Baron von Stuebven is voiced by Arnold Swartzenegger.
Liam Niesen voiced American Naval hero John Paul Jones in the show. They even meet Native Americans like Joseph Brandt (Mohawk Indian and British and Chief Cornstalk of the Shawnee tribe.
Kathleen Barr does a great job as Trixie and Chrysalis in MLP! Note they had Trixie sacrifice herself with her "Changeling capture" trick to allow Starlight and Thorax to infiltrate the Queen's throne room (and to allow Kathleen to focus on Chrysalis' monologue.
