April Update (Not an April fools joke, but just a normal update) · 9:29pm Apr 1st, 2018
As the title says, YES, THIS IS A REAL UPDATE! Normally I hide under a rock on April fools day, but this time I am here for a normal update.
So first bit of business. I have been having trouble writing recently. I still have plenty, or maybe to many, ideas, and I feel like I have most of Freedom Shall Ring planned out now, but actually sitting down and working on the stories...I just can't and I don't know why. Maybe stress about grad school test and such hiding away in the back of my mind, maybe too many video games (I blame fortnite), or maybe who the heck knows? SO, I have decided to stop writing on my main stories for a bit and instead do a one-shot story that has been in my mind for a while now to try and get back into the grove of things. Without spoiling much, it will be a non-cannon side-story to my 'How To...' Universe, looking at a major alternate timeline that begins roughly 11 years after Flash's And Twilight's wedding (Yes, I know I haven't written that yet, but that doesn't mean I don't already have that planned out). It will be a much sadder story than the rest of the 'How to...' Universe, and will be told from Twilight's POV for reasons that will be obvious once it is posted. But look forward to that, and sorry about the recent dry spell.
Also, the stories name will likely be 'Genesis'.
In other news, the new episode yesterday was pretty good, but I will likely not include the new character they introduced in the episode into Freedom Shall Ring (especially since I already have plans for Maud's relationship). Still, good episode, and OH MY LUNA THEY FINALLY MADE A NEW INTRO! AND IT ONLY TOOK THEM EIGHT YEARS TO SIGNIFICANTLY CHANGE IT! AND IT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!

On the plus side, I know my editor/girlfriend is currently working through the second chapter of How to Propose to a Princess and is making good progress, so at least she is being productive
