IN WHICH I FINISHED A THING
Okay, before I say what I actually need to, I'd like to share this. It dropped yesterday and is amazing.
Have I mentioned lately how much I love Laura Brehm? Well, I do. She has an angel's voice. Anyway, on to news.
Pardon me for shouting but… I FINALLY FINISHED MY SPECIAL SUNSET SHIMMER STORY!!
I really hoped I could finish this story in a week, but it's taken almost a month. In my defense, the complete first draft clocks in at nearly 9500 words, making it the longest single-chapter story I've ever written. Do you think that's too long? Should I break it up? As I go through editing in a day or so, I might try to pare it down a little.
With this story done, what's next? RECOVERY ARC, BABY!!! A lot of the stuff I wrote in this story will be relevant in And That's Good Enough. I'm looking forward to it. I hope you are too.
Peace out!
Looking forward to the new story and also, Laura Brehm and TheFatRat are the best!

Aren't they? I bought a physical copy of Laura's solo EP Breathe when it came out last summer.
I'm not sure which FatRat song without Laura is my favourite. "Unity" is his most popular, but I really like "Xenogenesis". It's got a great drop. Hell, Büttner (TFR) is amazing at bass drops just as a matter of course.

I have only listened to a few of his songs but the ones with Laura are definatly my favorites.
If you have something to say and it takes 9500 words to do so then by all means go for it. You've proven that you are a good enough writer for me to invest the time required to read it.
And more of the recovery arc would also be exceedingly nice but take it at your own speed. We'll still be here.

Well, I appreciate your faith in me. No seriously, I do. It means a lot to me that folks are still willing to give their support despite my erratic upload schedule.
Two of the final three stories are already completed (pending editing and sending them back to CoffeeMinion to reread) and have been for months. I've been slowly working on the third, which of course takes place before the other two. Who would I be if I didn't write a 13-Story Arc utterly out of order?
