I’M NO PRINCESS… I’M A WRECK - Nallah
We gave props to this story for doing a ship we’ve never seen before. To that effect, it was definitely an interesting read. Not something I expected I’d ever see. However, on the flip side, the pacing in this story and the overarching structure of it just was off. Large chunky paragraphs, roller-coaster plot movement and a few other things really held it back. However, we could definitely see that you have something going for you in terms of creative thinking. Keep practicing and improving and you’ll do some great things.
So guys/gals, do you think I should eventually go back and rework this story to be even better? One of the reason it probably felt "rollercoater" like is because I work full time and wasn't sure I would make the deadline of Feburary 28th, but I didn't know the deadline was extended until I was done with the story....so yeah thoughts?
Not a bad review, congrats on getting one as it seems so hard to come by these days. As for reworking it to fix the problems they mentioned, I say sure go for it when you have a chance! :)
