An end to the Song · 12:30pm Feb 28th, 2018
This fic is my worst nightmare, I'm surprised people actually liked it.
Well, if you are one of those people who liked Fallout: Equestria - A Song of Angels, you'll be upset to hear that the story is dead and will be removed in the future.
However, the characters, including ones intended for the story who never appeared, still have a song yet to be voiced. I decided to restart the fic under a different name and plot, but all of the characters and their arcs will be re-intergrated. Gattle Gun's personality will be changed, Dogmeat will be removed and Cynthia will not be a main character. The Crystal Empire setting will be nixed in favor fo a much different setting.
And absolutely anything related to Fallout: Equestria is subsequently being erased, save for Battle-saddles because those are convenient as crap and I have Kkat's permission to use them, just not for the newest version. I have to thank Recon77 for his fic, Black Feather (btw check it out if only to get a taste) which inspired, and convinced me to move this newer version away from Fallout and more into a stand-alone format. The gore will be toned down a notch (no promises) and the cursing will become incidental and appropriate. The character Gameplay, who was to appear in Song's third chapter, will have a different origin, but will remain a Lieutenant of a band of Raiders, at least until Gattle enters her life. More on that later.
I am pondering asking Turbo to remove the artwork from A Song of Angels, concept and covers, though I am open to hearing if people would like Turbopower to keep them up. The new version will maintain its M rating.

Now now, friend, the story had much potential but it was flawed beyond any acceptable means. Please, rejoice in the knowledge that Gattle Gun and Gameplay's tale will be continued in a better world with better execution.

I know, but the whole thing with the Crystal Empire was good to have because it does not show up in many FoE stories, and that was one thing that set your story apart from the rest. That was one of my favorite thing about it and will miss that, and having characters from other stories, i.e. Velvet Remedy and Calamity, was great to see cause it helps increase their presence in the wasteland after Littlepip did what she did. I know that you want to change it and I'm fine with it, but I'm just going to miss this story cause there was so much potential.

Aye, I do agree with what you say. I will miss the original concept, if only slightly. To me it was too dark and angry, and the first person perspective was shite. When I first envisioned the newer version, it was to have Calamity as a ghoul and have a chapter dedicated to the tomb of Velvet Remedy, that version of the story was set 99 years after Kkat's. A shame the characters are now no longer involved, but this way at least, I can be properly respectful to the characters.

To be quite honest Velvet Remedy is about the only character I have seen so far that would ascend to a natural alicorn in the waste.
