Yeah, I know what I said, but before you hang me, hear me.
So, I like to write stuff just to hone my skills and make sure I'm not sloppy. Often I will write anything that comes to mind in small doses and incorporate what I know or have learned in an effort to imporve upon my original fiction but also to temper my patience and to try and shake the grip of procrastination I impose upon myself (I am weak).
So, earlier today (Australian) thought about actually rewriting Nyx and the Sunset... again, as part of my constant testing, what this means is I am working on another chapter 1 and if I finish it, I'll publish it. This is especially so if I can do six hundred words or even a thousand words a day for one chapter which would be a serious boon to my morale.
But please... take it with as much salt as the Salar de Uyuni. I don't want to fall back into FIMfiction. Friendship is Magic isn't in the place I once held it and I've come to be very bitter with where the show went and how the writers and producers basically kiddy-fied it to a point where the later seasons fail to live up to the standards of earlier seasons.
It's not guaranteed, but I'm hopeful, I do want to retell the story but I'm not so certain of my conviction. In any case, incomplete is where it sits now. I will not be pasting over the original first chapter, I will be posting the new chapter one as its own entry if I finish it and I am satisfied.

Aaaah! I have it similar when it comes to my story! If only I had the time again to go through the pages and redo them. Lately, I only play with blender, such an amazing tool :) Stargazing
PS: But who knows? Maybe this time the story will get a hold of ya and won't let go?
