Should I try writing it? The last time I tried writing entirely original fiction was before I even started writing fanfics. I originally started publishing fics here for practice when the time came around for trying again.
Now, with how well Pony-Me has been doing, I've been feeling pretty confident that I could type out a decent original fic based on the same premise.
Should I try again after failing years ago?
Might be worth telling a different story in the same world. The story of someone else who woke up from a different simulation into the same world (possibly into one of the other cities that woke up early).
I don't know where fiction like that goes though. Fanfics have numerous fanfic sites, but I don't know what the options are for original fiction that is not professionally published.
I would say yes.

I've been thinking of rewriting Pony-Me as original fiction as a start.
