So, Familiary has been on hiatus for way longer than I hoped it would. Unfortunately, this is not very surprising considering my non-existent work ethic, incredibly fickle muse, short attention span and tendency towards procrastination. Don't get me wrong, when I do write I tend to write quite a lot. I just wish I was capable of being in that mindset for more than just, like, two months a year.

Well, the song is titled "Rules of Nature," and we have a circle. I believe this is referring to the circle of life. Everything lives damn near symbiotically, and small parts of the circle that end up missing can collapse the entire system.
In reference to the story, I can't say anything definitive. Maybe whatever ancient relic that the main character is after is a part of something far greater than even the main character realizes.
