Dawn of the final semester · 5:31pm Jan 8th, 2018
Well, this is the last one. The final count down has begun. 4 Months remain I start my last classes today and tomorrow, and I'm well more than ready to get this all finished with. My goal is to have Super finished in the time that I'm here for my last semester, but if that doesn't happen, well. C'est la vie, n'est-ce pas? We got about half a chapter written between now and the past week, so not much I could really do there. I'm hoping I can get that done, but we'll see what actually happens. No idea what the workload is going to be, and I have to police myself about working on my 3D model. One of the 'classes' I have is essentially a self study of 3D modeling, so I've decided that I'm just going to devote 3 hours of my day every Friday to working on that. If you don't remember, or never knew, I was working on this once upon a time (about a year ago actually) and I attempted to, but failed to maker her move within Maya itself. I plan to rectify that this semester and make a full animation with her. however, I'm going to have to remember a few things and figure out how to do all the parts that are involved with animations (such as controls, effects, lip sync, all that stuff.) and it's gonna be a long process. there are also a few issues with the model herself, and those will also need to be corrected.
I don't know what it is, but I think I get anxious about writing pre-planned battle scenes. It took me forever and a half to finally get Kaiju 2 written, and between here and then, I've added two extra chapters and moved stuff around. Even with what is essentially a direct lead into what should just starts as the fight in Kaiju 3, I ended up adding 4 more pages of Celestia and Applejack without really meaning to. I don't know why I'm so apprehensive about it, but it's a thing, and I need to get over it. The True Self fight came out smooth and in one sitting, but it was completely unplanned, so who knows what my deal is. [](/ajshrug)
