TLaTU Part 37 in the books... · 3:49pm Dec 19th, 2017
Well, folks... I'm calling the latest and craziest TLaTU chapter a success. Three new likes, and TLaTU part 37 was certainly a popular chapter by read count. It's been very well-received thus far--doubly so for it being the wildest thing I've written yet! I have to admit I had some trepidation about how well it would go over, but it turned out I needn't have worried. I was also pleasantly surprised by how eager folks seemed for the ending, even after everything that had already come. I knew Pinkemana was popular with a couple of my prereaders, but I didn't realize that it was shared by so many others! 
Her chapter is yet to come, but in the meantime, I wanted to let readers know two things: first, I fleshed out and enhanced the Rainbow scenes towards the end of the chapter more because, upon reflection, I didn't think I quite sold her reaction in the aftermath. So I invite everyone to give those revamped paragraphs a look and let me know what you think. More changes may be coming as I continue to tweak things, and if any major ones are made, I'll of course let everyone know.
Secondly, and this is something I meant to discuss in my blog post last week, was that I'm thinking about retconning Starswirl's appearance in the final chapter trials to mesh more with his new show canon we saw in the season finale. I don't think I'd go strictly with the show version, but perhaps the grudge he bears against The Nightmare has something to do with Stygian's fall and the actions he and his fellow 'pillars' were eventually forced to take. Perhaps the Nightmare corrupted Stygian to turn him into the Pony of Shadows, and perhaps he and his friends were forced to sacrifice themselves somewhat more permanently than in the show to stop her. Just random food for thought, and I'll certainly welcome any ideas folks have on it.
The next chapter I'm writing is an Unleash the Magic - Nightmare Night one, which I invite all to read if you haven't already. Hey, if you enjoyed the magic-fueled sex here or in the original Unleash the Magic, you should really like it there! I will attempt to release the Pinkemana chapter within a month, but I do also want to get another Into the Storm: The Rise of Firefly chapter written beforehand.
