My new story got basically ignored. · 9:49am Dec 3rd, 2017
I submitted a story at two AM last light. I guess part of the reason it got ignored. But then again, I think this place has a large US following. So it could be it just kinda sucked, and didn't have a catchy summary, or picture of the back of rainbow. In short, I need write better and stop rushing out things so much, it doesn't work like it used to.
It's a little disheartening so very few read it. But I guess, that's what I get for putting little effort into things. Even though, I've read stories with even worse effort put into them.
TBH it just wasn't a very interesting story. Really predictable and not particularly funny or sexy.
It was too serious.
You've got him waking up in hospital in excruciating pain, recalling what caused said pain and then cracking jokes.
the speed at which it was paced leaves you thinking, 'Dude. You're in fucking pain. NOBODY is able to emotionally recover that fast WHILE in pain.'
IT probably would have worked out a LOT better if it had been about three times as long.
I feel like a lot of your other stories’ appeal is the absurdity and initial shock factor. It could be that the community has gotten used to your stories and gone numb, but that story is also less absurd. Or at least I think so.
Keep up the good work.
I never got around to it. I can't tell you how many stories I have in my Read it Later folder. Telling you the number would bring me nothing but shame and I plan to read those stories, I just never got around to it and that's not even counting the released chapters of stories I'm following.... I'm way behind.
