Maybe you read and liked Who We Are. I'm led to believe it was pretty popular. If you did, I ran across a thing you should read too.
Who We Are, The Princesses Would Destroy. It's by Ghost of Heraclitus and I've basically assimilated it into my personal canon for Who We Are. So yeah. Consider this official.
Yes I'm late. But late is kinda better than never.
Ghost is the best.
Nice; thanks. :)
The best part about it is that the author remembered that an important part of the story is the ambiguity of the identity of the character in question.

Yeah. I love that it fits perfectly in with my intent in the first place.
wait, how weren't you informed about this already?
I kind of assumed you'd already have been informed when it was posted 3 years ago

It got posted while I was in my 3-4 Year hiatus
Happy to help facilitate the spread of awesomeness.

Well of course. I know I couldn't reveal the identity because, first, I'd be in disagreement with something like 5/6ths of all readers but, more fundamentally, it doesn't matter who's the changeling. We already know who they are. Which is why the story's called... yeah. :)
Incidentally, if you'd like to read something somewhat similar to this, may I suggest Love and Other Acquired Tastes.

That was fun!
Man. I'm feeling the urge to make a collection of AU alt endings for WWA now. I probably shouldn't because people will use that as an excuse to argue about who it is again but I kinda want to because pinkie using the phrase "am I bugging you?" Is the most hilarious thing to pass through my head in years.
*snort*
I had already read it! But I went and read it again, just for you.
Who We Are is still one of my favorite stories on the site. I go back and re-read it every so often.

Who We Are is my favorite of my stories. I only wish I could do the same emotional payload again.
