My apologies for the long silence! Just wanted to pop in to say that at last, I finally, finally, finally got past all that "real life" stuff that was holding me back from working on my horse books. I'm just waiting for a replacement mechanical keyboard to arrive (an absolute must for typing many words related to pones quickly) and then I'm gonna go ham. Hooray!
Some assorted sundries:
- My longtime FR contemporary Flutterpriest set up a Patreon to help out his sick doggo. Please consider helping out if you can.
- Rogue RGRE Pastamancer ghouls completed his transfer of all existing chapters of Spaghetti and Fillies to Fimfic. It's well worth your time to check it out!
- Thank you so much to those who offered artist suggestions for my projects. Once I've got a good idea of my exact requests, I'll start reaching out to those with availability for commissions.
- They sure put a lot of effort into making these things. It'd be a shame if something happened to it.
I suppose that's it for now. I'll post again once Exchange's 3rd bonus arc is nearing completion.

stop
you are givin me an awwwwwwwwwwwww
are you actually coming back to writing or are you still Retired? either way great to see you still around
4728220
No, still retired as I'm not going to be making any new stories. What I am doing is writing a new bonus chapter for Exchange prior to compiling it into a printable book. It's not much, but at least it'll be something to look forward to.
It's nice seeing you again. Another arc, eh? Today is good day.
Wish you would be not retired, I loved Exchange but it sucks that you arent making any more stories. At least we get another piece added onto it.
Long live the king!

Same tbh. truly a feelsbadman moment.
4728627
Than-- wait, isn't that what they usually say before the assassin pulls out a dagger and shanks the king? I'm on to you!
4728745
Oh, don't feel too bad. There's still tons of writers still cranking out good stories. Go read about this adorable NEET pone if you haven't already. (You probably have.)
Keyboard just came in... oh, it's wonderful! It's like having a Model M again. Did a quick typing test and hit 72 WPM @ 99% accuracy, but that'll improve as I break the individual keys in. So exciting, and worth every penny!

Oh shit feelsgoodman! thx for the story. Its true that there good writers out there but there has only been 2-3 writers that have made stories that have touched me in ways my uncle wish he had.
Also you making the recent lists of fics you love have given me plenty of entertainment and must say your taste is phenomenal.
dude finally we've missed you, exchange was my favorite personally I wish someone would do cover art for that i'd have it printed
What do you plan to do once you finish up writing Exchange's next bonus arc, work on a new story? I really liked Exchange(no surprise there) and it'd be neat to see something in a similar vein, except with Luna.

After I finish the new arc I'll start working on the physical books for Exchange and Pirate Hats & Homemade Kites. Then I'm permanently retired for real this time. The reason I came back from the dead was because the Russians managed to produce THIS amazing piece of work, and I'd like to have a copy for myself, in English of course!
4735117
Wow! Do you plan to give fans the chance to buy the book?
4735278
Yes, of course! Specifically I'll be providing template files and instructions on how they can utilize print-on-demand services to print their own copies at whatever cost they find reasonable.
Anymore progress on the hardback version of Exchange? Not trying to rush you or anything, just like to keep up-to-date. =)

Not yet, I can't really do anything with it until the final bonus content is written as without it I don't have an idea of the final page count. Page count will be the biggest factor in determining the book's dimensions and whatnot. My goal is to have everything done this year and I'll continue to work toward it!

Alright, that's cool. Us readers just liked to kept in-the-loop, per-say. =)
