I personally prefer the forger world version of the plague marines withe just a little mutation decoration.

The new GW kit is kind of unwieldy. The Plague Marines are larger now, with 35 mm bases. Which isn't a huge problem... except that I already had 14 of the old Plague Marines with 30 mm bases -_-
Mixing the old and new models looks terrible. So I made one to act as unit champion, and then kitbashed the new weapons I wanted onto my flamer Marines (which are no longer legal weapons).

4706129 I just find the the new one are over decorated and don't invite doing personalized models with recognizing them anymore.
I actually have 12 of the 2th edition Plague Marines and 30 of the 3,5 codex version of them, I don't really need any more, but the Chosen could be a good idea for the over elaborate designs.
So Flamers aren't a thing anymore for plague marines? I haven't been up to date on then lately.

I agree, mostly. The new models look good, but they're so overdesigned now that they're built to fit together only one way. It made combining old and new parts much more difficult, and unique posing is basically impossible.
But yeah, flamers are no longer legal weapons for a squad. Plague Marines now have access to a bunch of special Nurgle-based equipment unique to their unit rather than the normal selection of special weaponry. Melta guns and plasma guns are still allowed, but combi-weapons, power weapons (except for fists) and flamers are not.
The model on the far left used to have a combi-melta; I had to swap out for a plasma gun (which Plague Champions are allowed to take). The guy second from the right has the new Nurgle version of a heavy flamer, a plague spewer. The model all the way to the right has a blight launcher, which seems to be some kind of poison grenade weapon.
Is anyone in 40k not obsessed with skulls though? Skull obsession is common to the point of normal.
Maybe the Tau.... and the regular Eldar. And technically the Tyranid. But who really considers any of them the 'Good guy's?' *Looks around* Certainly not me, no need to investigate me, secret Ordos Xenos spies that watch us all. Clearly skulls are a sign of the will of the Emperor.
And those models look awesome. Hope they didn't hurt your wallet to much.

I miss my old Chaos Undivided army, it was made entirely from conversions of either loyalist figures or reaper minis on 40k bases, it was great!
I mean look at this Slaaneshi dreadnought! It used to be a smurf dread!
Sadly I think most of them are rotting in a box in my basement these days...

I'm afraid the internet ate your link
Not only did Jeff's response not assure Stan that they weren't the "Baddies", it also drove Stan to begin questioning several other aspects of his Warband's activities. Which was all well and good with the local Warlord, just so long as Stan still went where he was suppose to and shot who he was suppose to, the why really didn't matter.
