I saw the movie.
I liked it. A LOT.
The animation... oh my GOD. The animation was so smooth and beautiful. The songs were all enjoyable (I really like Capper's song and the Hypogriffins /Sea Ponies/ song). Princess Skystar was cute and so nice. The comedy was excellent. Tempest was portrayed a hell of a lot better than I expected along with her backstory and sole reason to be "evil". I was SOOOOOO glad Starlight wasn't included in the main cast, not because I don't like her, but because the whole movie was better without her. I wonder where in Tartarus Discord was during those 3 - 4 days. The Storm King was hilarious and so vile at the same time! Just seeing him have the time of his life playing with the scepter was pure gold. And the Storm guards were so... adorable. I really liked the dudes (especially two of them; the one assaulted by Pinkie Pie (this mare has issues), and the one brought to tears by Fluttershy). And HOLY SHIT, just how many of them were set on fire! I can totally recall seeing Capper and Spike firing at one specific fallen Storm Guard and be then consumed by fire! Big plus for killing off the Storm King at the end!
Edit: I forgot to mention the pirates! I friggin adored them all! My favorite was Captain Celaeno. Despite losing their ship they remained loyal since their spark was reignited, really, really liked those guys. And the entire ending was great. Twilight managing to sympathize with Tempest was so touching it kinda makes up for her earlier naiveness. Derpy saved Twilight! YES!
The only part I didn't like was Twilight trying to steal the orb. Seemed a bit OOC for her.
And if I have to nitpick something, is the desert bit. Couldn't Twilight use magic to shield them from the heat/sun? And Why the hell is Spike affected by the heat so damn much!? He can swim in lava and spent hours surrounded by active volcanoes several times already and he was fine in an environment much hotter and punishing than a desert. I know that was for comedy sake, but still. As I said, nitpicking.
I rate the movie with a 9/10. (Sia was adoraboru)

Both, actually. I live in Mexico, so I got the Spanish version in theaters.
A friend gave me a link to the leaked English version. Which is far superior in terms of voice acting. The Spanish voice acting is nice and on point most of the time, but it really lacks the same vibrance and emotion that the English/Original version has.
Now I need to see the movie.
For the fans who hate Sparity, you be disappointed that Capper didn't end up with Rarity at the end of the movie, in which I not disappointed at all

It was never intended that way from the start. In the Bio's of the movie it says how Rarity and Capper become great friends, which is even more real and understandable if you read the Comic Prequel of the Movie and see how Capper ended up where he is in the Movie in the first place. And Rarity was just being her usual flirty self.

4687492 I know, but you know about this fandom as much then I do when it comes to shipping, when the fans (who against Sparity) see a character interact with Rarity or Spike in some way, they take it as they like each other very much, which is not true in canon.

No effin' way, Captain Caeleano is my favorite too! I guess I have a big thing for birds... especially anthro birds.
Dude Skystar was freacking cute she is my favorite of the new characters, Emily Blunt really nailed the voice acting with Tempest
