Back in the Saddle Again · 5:40pm Oct 2nd, 2017
Afternon everyone. I'm so happy to be doing this for Super again. Last night I started reading Hirohiko Araki's Manga in Theory and Practice and had a sudden burst of inspiration. I wrote about 3000 words in a couple hours while getting to a point where I knew I could just come back and finish from this morning. It gave me a surge of drive and will to keep progressing the story and I actually had fun doing it like I should. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's done this, but when I write, there are times where I just dread getting to the next part. I don't know what it is or why this happens, but for some reason, I just don't want to get started so the story moves. It's been my greatest road block since trying to get back into this in the summer, and I can't figure out how to really fight it. It seems like this was enough to do just that though, and I'm rather happy with the result.
Next time we'll get back to the more slice of life stuff and the new drama between the cast since our purple friend happens to hold some kind of a grudge against Rainbow. Here's hoping I can get that out before November. In between Super Chapters, I've decided to start trying to write that series of short stories set in the world Honesty is a Virtue is. I came to the conclusion that I want to just make a bunch of shorts that I can turn into Manga/comics in attempt to start my self on the path to doing what I really want to and make something like super into it's own comic. I had planned to turn that into it's own project over the summer, but my mental block from progressing the story kept me from really doing anything with it, so I think having something else to think about might just be the remedy I need to keep myself consistent. This is all of course with school/work not withstanding. I'm also going to Nightmare Nights this year since it's the send off Con and I happen to live in that area. With that said, here's hoping I can find myself time to do all the things I want to. This is my last year of college, so my personal projects should be able to come to the forefront once the summer comes, but in reality, my summer will never come again. The days of nothing to do will end and I’ll have to be a real adult like the rest of society. [](/ajfear)
Enough with the sad talk though, more super, more projects, and hopefully a comic of Honesty is a Virtue within the month!
