Delayed Chapter now published! · 7:39pm Sep 18th, 2017
As I promised, here it is! The new chapter for A Story Told, 'The Trial', is now published and there for all of you to read and (hopefully) enjoy.
This chapter is quite an important one to the story’s progression, as it is the trial in which Edmond faces not only Rarifort as his judge, but also Danglarjack and Fernand in court. Things are looking grim for him, but perhaps truth and honesty will win out in the end. So he hopes, anyway.
Quick little note: I’m not really too versed or experienced with anything court based, so the whole scene might seem a bit odd to you all (like how defendant and judge are just chatting with each other), but it’s not a human court in the end + the fact that it is mostly just a show trial, since Rarifort has been bribed and all.
Apart from that, I hope you will enjoy reading! Hopefully the next chapter will come in time during the weekend so I don’t have to delay it again
